About Us

Doon Angus Farm has a long tradition of rearing Angus cattle. Martin and Marie continue that tradition rearing Angus calves from dairy herds and supplying top quality Angus beef together with a focus on sustainability.

In 2016 we decided that we would really like if people from all the world had the opportunity to experience and enjoy the countryside that we feel so privileged to have on our door step. It was during one of our own cycling holidays in the countryside that we came up with the idea of Glamping and a year later Westport Glamping at Doon Angus farm opened.

Our aim is to create a place where you and your family or friends can relax and unwind from the noise and hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Whilst relaxing you can experience life in the countryside and on the farm.

From then on in, it has been all the wonderful people we have met along the way that continues to shape the next part of our journey. A massive thank you to all the lovely guests that have already experienced a holiday in one of the pods or Shepherds Hut at Westport Glamping. We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and hope you will return again soon.
